Here at 21st Century Internet Ltd we adopt a zero tolerance to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, all forms of corruption and bribery. We fully support the governments objectives to eradicate modern day slavery and human trafficking and are committed to ensuring a high level of understanding of the risks of modern day slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains.
21st Century Internet Ltd is a family/privately owned company employing less than 10 people. The company has 2 directors, one manager, programmers and graphic designers all working from one uk office in Uckfield East Sussex. We do not outsource any of our programming or graphic design outside of our offices. We are dedicated in providing all our employees with a positive working environment which complies with and exceeds the requirements of all applicable legislation.
21st Century Internet Ltd fully supports the principals behind the modern day slavery and human trafficking Act and our employment training ensures we as a company adhere with these principles and hence follows through in everything we do.
We allow individuals who work or provide services to us the right to freely choose employment and the right to associate freely with other individuals. Workers are offered an environment which is free from harassment and unlawful discrimination. We ensure our working practices are in accordance with the Equality act 2010 and all employment legislation. We do not engage in forced or involuntary labour and have a zero-tolerance approach to any supplier or company we supply services to engaging in such conduct.
We expect our suppliers and clients to adopt the same Zero Tolerance to modern day slavery and human trafficking in its principals and will make reasonable endeavours to investigate any concerns we have over the working conditions of their workers. If any abuse within these organisations is identified, we will take appropriate action which may include termination of our relationship with them.
We have made all staff aware that they can contact any of our directors confidentially to report any concerns they may have of modern day slavery and human trafficking either within our business, suppliers or clients.
We plan to implement risk assessments as part of our induction and training process which will specifically focused on identifying the areas of our business where there may be a possible risk of human abuse either in our own business, suppliers or clients. All potential risks will be investigated.
